I had a chance to buy this car at palm beach dragway in 1972 for 60,000. I begged my
dad to help me purchase the car saying I thought it would be worth 100,000 some day.
I had just graduated from UF and was campainging a 1968 camaro in the SCCA. All
my money was in the camaro. It was painted yellow and being street driven passing us
on the fla turnpike on the way to the track. I believe a doctor owned the car and he said
it had won lemans.
