Well, it really looks like the Bentley Speed 8 with some minor improvements

Of course, they differ in a lot of things, but there is 6 years between the 2 cars and lots of development, but they couldn’t lie about their relations. the R18 and Bentley Speed 8 are completely unrelated…Audi started the original R8 project AFTER the Bentley Speed 8 had already been developed…..the only relation of the Speed 8 to Audi was the engine……the only similarity they have is that they are closed cockpit.
