looks like this car is making the rounds:

i think everyone was reminded of the 504 after one went on sale in Brooklyn a couple weeks ago……it was found on Ebay…….other than that, i think the car had virtually been forgotten in this country! To me, it looks very Alfa-ish….but with a little frenchie touch.
The Alfa-looks is because of Pininfarina, it doesn’t differs from the original 504, but it’s still beautiful. Forgotten these unique cars? Haha, then what about those you’ve never seen! Peugeot 406 Coupé and it’s racing version (which is the most beautiful racing-car in my opinion) the Peugeot 406 Coupé Silhouette. It also had a successor, the 407 Coupé Silhouette, which was used for a shorter period in the touring car racing. And I didn’t mentioned road cars like the Peugeot 607, Renault Vel Satis, Citroen C3 (Google them if you want, you will be amazed), or nearly every french car, but it’s same with the italians: Alfa 159, Fiat Seicento, Lancia Thesis. Without french and italian designed cars the roads would be so boring. They are not always the bests, it’s true but they have fantastic design.
LASZLO: i agree with many of your opinions…but the Renaul Vel Satis has to be one of the most godawful ugly cars i have ever seen! Peugeot have always made ‘pretty’ coupes…whether they are nice to drive or not, i’m not sure…..The Citroen C3 was stunningly gorgeous though.
Great photo. Thanks for sharing.
