I really like the new Boxster—-i think it’s very aggressive looking, spiffy interior, and just a big time improvement over the prior interpretations. In fact, it’s the first Boxster i’ve seen that actually looks the part…
Of course I still don’t really care for roadsters, however this sets everything up for the obvious future question: How great will the next Cayman be!?

Only 1 of these 2 coupes currently survive. These were developed strictly for racing in the early 1950s by Porsche and they competed in the Panamericana races of South America and were also purchased by 2 independent South American race car drivers.
Both coupes were missing for many years, until recently the 1st one built has turned up and is starting to make the rounds of car shows.
Arguably, this is likely the car that has inspired the current Cayman in the Porsche stable, and it definitely makes for great desktop wallpaper!
