Volvo 263? When Volvo thought about trying to build a fastback!? This is a lost prototype/design study of a 263 Coupe/Fastback. This must be when Volvo looked over at the Saab 900 and thought “oi! we can do that”…..til they realised they couldn’t!

I gotta say, i’m excited to see what SAAB comes up with in the next few years. I always loved SAAB as a company, but found GM to be a corrupting party in their uniqueness and product line. Here’s to hoping SPYKER brings some fun back to the brand.
The rumour is that the original SAAB 99 is the inspiration behind a new working concept under the working name “92” or”9-2″
About a year ago, IEDEI had ranted about SAAB and it’s lack of current identity.
It is starting to look more and more that SAAB may find it again!

GORGEOUS. not entirely convinced by the interior, but i’m sure the materials and finish are superb as Alfa Romeo interiors generally are.
Several different versions have been developed: two Quadrifoglio Verde (Cloverleaf) models fitted with a 235 horsepower 1.75-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, two Distinctive models fitted with a 170 horsepower 2.0-liter JTDM turbodiesel engine and a Base model fitted with a 170 horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged gasoline mill.
All the engines are teamed with a six-speed manual as standard while the MultiAir and JTDM engines are available with an optional dual clutch automatic transmission.
