beautiful oil painting by Andrea Del Pesco of Maseratis getting ready in the pits, 1956.
Alfa Romeo Montreal; easily one of my top 3 Alfas ever…look at that lumpy V8 muscle hanging over the front wheels!

I love the mash-up collages made on the Carfreax site—–here are some they posted from the Porsche Museum. You can see more at the link below.

I respect most Lotus models, but don’t really love them—-except the original Elite! what a car.
This is a vintage Lotus Elite manual.

btw, here’s another nice vintage Advertisement for the ELITE.
These are very cool and very original. I especially love the way he annotates information about the cars above the angular cutaway sketches. The Maserati 250 T-shirt is quite nice, although too red for me to order unfortunately. Prints and cards are quite affordable—a nice place to pick up a few gifts for yourself or a petrolhead in your lives.
Got this from the fantastic Alpine Portugal page
i’ve always been a huge fan of Rob Ijbema‘ s artwork—-i will buy a painting one of these days. Here’s another one by him of Nuvolari in his glorious Auto Union.
illustrated by Guy Allen. see more pics and link to more info at Motoring Con Brio
Alpine A310 by Rob Ijbema
this is an amazing commissioned drawing of the Alpine A110 by the superb automotive painter, Miha Furlan
a lovely collage from the excellent Carfreax site. As usual, everything is better in black!

I love these photos. I first came across Matteo’s photos in one of my automotive magazines “Intersection”, however Matteo Ferrari is known for this type of time lapsed photography of cars and their owners—-showing the often long-term relationships with their automobiles. After owning the TT for 8 years, I am currently finding myself acknowledging the deep bonds between cars and their owners.
Here are some of the photos he has done… from his website
