i can never get enough of this video……the Audi IMSA cars were in a league of their own….one of the greatest race cars of our lifetime. Nothing sounds like a 5 Cylinder 720hp engine. Amazing. I love the fact that Audi came to the USA and kicked the crap out of everything on the track for the IMSA league, and then left…..just brilliant.

You may or may not know that i also play music, in a project known as The Bavarian Druglords. Over the past few years, one of my favourite new bands to come out of the UK are a band called Exit Calm, who I was going to try to do a split 7″ single with last year—however it never came to fruition.
Anyways, i’m pleased to report that the latest Exit Calm release is a full length album, entitled “Exit Calm” was released last month, and it’s brilliant. so go listen to it.

BMW 1-Series M….coming out in early 2011 (supposedly)….i’m hearing 340hp, losing 100-200 pounds, stiffened suspension, big brakes, all sorts of wacky modded options. The price estimate by IEDEI? $45k.

weird obscure usage of a BMW 2002 Turbo in a film….
Well this is quite an abstract use of this car! I have no idea what film this is The film is a French-Belgian production called Dikkinek (Thanks to my friend Olivier!) and i’m still not sure what role that BMW 2002 Turbo had in the rest of the film, however it does create a nice backdrop for…..errr…..quite a weird scene?

hello, Porsche 918 Spyder.
This looks very R8-ish, with more curves and Porsche-ness. I’m not sure what to really think of it. I’m not a fan of hybrids, although I understand they will be enhancing market share in the imminent future. If they made this car with a petrol engine, i’d be far more likely to plop it down as my wallpaper. Still pretty cool though, and somewhat of a diversion for Porsche designing.
