along with the Lamborghini Espada, this Lamborghini Islero is one of my absolute favourite Lamborghinis ever made. It followed the original 350GT and 400GT as a reskinned version of those. The styling on this is gorgeous….the first time i saw one in person, i was blown away. Gorgeous. Ferrari? Who needs old Ferraris……i’d happily take me an Espada and an Islero for a fraction of the price…

Rusty Zipper has a wide selection of authentic vintage racing jackets, y’know—-the polyester/nylon type in solid colours with those particular racing stripes. So go over there, find your perfect colour combination and get one for a very reasonable price (most of them are between $20 and $35!).

I used to hate the new 6-series when it first came out, but these days i really am quite fond of it…..Bangle made me a believer! The original 6-series was a true classic though, and it’s nice to see a pic of them together. I wish they were the same colour though……

My friend Matteo from Switzerland has a great site called Swiss Car Sightings where he takes some great pictures of cars he sees at gatherings, around Switzerland, around the rest of europe—along with photos of some of his great cars. Among his great cars is the 964 featured in these photos along with an older 911 and the newest 997 C4S. I could analyze and look at these pics all day marking the evolution patterns….

By far one of my favourite Alfa Romeos, the Montreal was almost like a ‘mini-Miura” in many ways. Inside this small-ish shell, it had a big heavy V8 nested away. Some people said it was too soft, and too sloppy to be a real sports car….but i don’t think it matters. It was like an italian muscle car…..with a brilliant soundtrack to boot!
