I can never get enough of the Audi 90 IMSA GTO, and these beautiful prints were done by an artist named Colin Carter. They are available to purchase in print form, autographed by Hurley Haywood, Hans Stuck, and the artist for a reasonable $69.

I quite enjoy these coloured pencil sketches, from the Deviant Art page of Kaka 22
(shame about the big watermarks on them though….)
I love the mash-up collages made on the Carfreax site—–here are some they posted from the Porsche Museum. You can see more at the link below.

I respect most Lotus models, but don’t really love them—-except the original Elite! what a car.
This is a vintage Lotus Elite manual.

btw, here’s another nice vintage Advertisement for the ELITE.
my friend Xander Walker really does some great artwork, as previously seen on this blog—-so here is his most recent art print with the legendary Bertone Stratos Zero Concept. Each print is $60 and ltd. edition of 50 prints.
These are very cool and very original. I especially love the way he annotates information about the cars above the angular cutaway sketches. The Maserati 250 T-shirt is quite nice, although too red for me to order unfortunately. Prints and cards are quite affordable—a nice place to pick up a few gifts for yourself or a petrolhead in your lives.
Got this from the fantastic Alpine Portugal page
i’ve always been a huge fan of Rob Ijbema‘ s artwork—-i will buy a painting one of these days. Here’s another one by him of Nuvolari in his glorious Auto Union.
illustrated by Guy Allen. see more pics and link to more info at Motoring Con Brio

some information about the painting from Tom Miller Sports And Classics:
Joe Perricone has been painting since childhood and has been restoring vintage cars for over 35 years. Joe started painting cars when he had a desire to do 4 paintings of the Vanderbilt cup races and never looked back. He paints oil on canvas of cars of the 20’s and 30’s, mostly of races lost in time and long forgotten. The subject matter is of the pits, action in corners and break downs on the track. Joe’s work is in the collection of Hutchinson Co. and many other private collections, he has paintings hanging next to the great automotive painter Peter Helck amongst others. Joe’s work is an expressionist remembrance of the work done in the 1860’s through the 1890’s with abstract line for balance and perspective and a distinctive color palette.
Thanks to Motorsport Retro for turning me on to this artist, Nicolas Cancelier. Some great stuff going on here, I especially love the colours he is using to capture the time of these cars. Very cool. These are available for purchase as large, high quality prints as well. Please inquire with Nicolas directly through the links provided.

in honor of the recently auctioned and record setting $30 million BUGATTI TYPE 57SC ATLANTIC (Atlantique) which was owned by the late car collector and neurologist Dr. Peter Williamson
I met Dr. Williamson once, and he showed me around his Bugatti Type 35B. He was a gentleman and a good guy. Sad to see his Bugatti collection now being parted out after his death…
i’m not sure who the artist of this great piece is…
