in honor of the recently auctioned and record setting $30 million BUGATTI TYPE 57SC ATLANTIC (Atlantique) which was owned by the late car collector and neurologist Dr. Peter Williamson
I met Dr. Williamson once, and he showed me around his Bugatti Type 35B. He was a gentleman and a good guy. Sad to see his Bugatti collection now being parted out after his death…
i’m not sure who the artist of this great piece is…
ok, so this video might make you a bit dizzy……BUT THAT SOUND. I could listen to that sound ALL DAY.
My favourite car on my favourite track…with the worst cameraman in the world!
artist: Paul Chenard
scene: Peter Collins driving a 300 SLR through Targa Florio in 1955.
great stuff by Mr. Chenard, as always…

Chris Harris is definitely one of my favourite motoring journalists…and he’s recently pulled his BMW E28 M5 out of storage to put to use.
(Chris) “Not a hint of corrosion, the interior is mint and the wheels are unmarked. Can’t wait to collect it later today.”
it looks great…as all E12 and E28s seem to….
Has anyone else noticed how similar the front ends of the Mazda 3 look with the Peugoet 207? yeah they’re not identical, but clearly Mazda has been borrowing some ideas, and changing them jusssssst enough to avoid plagiarism. Cheeky.
I recently drove a MAZDA 6 rental car on my trip to San Francisco last week, and I am delighted to report that it was a slow, soul-less, derivative pile of rubbish! “Zoom zoom” my arse…

Definitely one of my favourite ‘modern’ italian sports cars…..the classic Maserati Coupe GT in Trofeo Cup form.
Dutch designer Marco van Overbeeke has created another ‘new’ conceptual (and unofficial) design for the Lamborghini Miura. This one is less devotedto the original 1960s Miura and adapted to the modern world.
I kinda like it…pretty aggressive. Too band Lamborghini will NEVER be producing it.

420hp V8 + less than 2000 pounds curb weight + those looks = WOW.
