not sure if this is from an advertisement, but i’m guessing it is…..i like all the hippy little euro teenagers (adults?) chillin having a picnic, so much pleasure these Skodas brought to their eastern bloc dreams!
i like the foto. gloomy forest, colourful 2nd rate euroboxes, and happy weird people.
From a vintage auto parts book….so cool. One of the most beautiful cars ever. The Lancia Aurelia B20 GT.
This sort of reminds of WHY i wanted a Mini Cooper so badly during my teenage trips to London….cos they looked so tossable, and they ARE so tossable!

I love the natural friction of this photo….i wonder if these are original GT40s racing, or if they are replicas?
I love this photo. it’s so authentic, with such beautiful colours. i love the car too, a rare Peugeot 504 Coupe in rare rally-spec.

The original AMG…..the daddy of ALL AMG cars.
“In its early years, AMG concentrated on building racing cars based on the Mercedes-Benz 300 SE sedan and competing in European touring car races. The first racing success came in 1971, when a Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3, modified by AMG with a 6.9-liter engine, took a surprise class victory in the 24-hour race at Spa in Belgium, finishing in second place overall. The 1971 success proved to be the springboard for an enviable record on the track that has continued to this day and has formed a cornerstone of the AMG philosophy (see AMG racing history at end of this section)”
My fellow Brooklyn dweller over at Automobiliac has just paid a visit over to the Alfa Romeo Museo Storica in Arese, Italy. He’s also taken some great photos, and here are just a few to check out. Click on the link below to see the rest of them…..i’m properly jealous!
